Project Manager - Maternity Cover from October (Part-Time)

Global Initiative, a UK-based digital agency known for its work in digital health and startup projects, is seeking an Experienced Project Manager for a part-time (80% FTE) maternity cover role. If you have a minimum of 3 years of agency experience working with agile teams, a passion for kaizen, and driving teams towards successful deliveries, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Role

Starting from October 2023, this role runs for an expected 7 months. In this key position, you will utilise your project management skills, your experience of agile methodologies, and your commitment to kaizen to lead our dynamic teams to the successful completion of our digital projects. Experience with ISO 9001 and 27001 would be beneficial but is not a requirement. What You’ll Do

  • Lead project teams in delivering digital projects on schedule and within scope.
  • Conduct agile ceremonies and workshops with your teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Employ your understanding of agile methodologies and kaizen principles to continually refine our processes.
  • Use any experience with ISO 9001 and 27001 to contribute to our quality and security management.
  • Collaborate with various teams to translate project requirements into actionable plans.
  • Validate your teams’ outputs match the standard our clients and stakeholders expect of us.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with all stakeholders, ensuring transparency and managing expectations effectively.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of agency experience, with a focus on managing agile teams.
  • Experience conducting agile ceremonies and client workshops.
  • An understanding of kaizen principles.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 27001 would be beneficial.
  • Preferably some level of PM / Delivery accreditation (eg Scrum Master Certified or other)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A problem-solver with attention to detail.
